Most of my belongings were stolen from my unit here on or around October 7, 2024 when I first got the voicemail from Kat the manager. She also told me 8 total units were broken into and stolen from. Next day I filled out a police report with north las vegas police department. The police representative told me that within the past few months about THIRTY POLICE REPORTS HAVE BEEN FILED BY PEOPLE WHO HAD THEIR UNITS BROKEN INTO AND THEIR BELONGINGS STOLEN AT SHIELD STORAGE LOCATIONS ALL ACROSS THE VALLEY. What makes it worse s when north las vegas police department asks shield storage for footage of the crimes, SHIELD STORAGE DOESN'T GIVE THE POLICE ANY VIDEO SURVEILLANCE FOOTAGE AT ALL. They keep coming up with lame excuses as to why they have no footage. SHIELD STORAGE IS STEALING FROM THEIR CUSTOMERS or they are the most inept company ever. DO NOT USE SHIELD STORAGE OR GET YOUR STUFF OUT OF THERE ASAP.

The reason this storage facility has many “good reviews'' is because they give a certain amount off your next month for a review which is probably going to be nullified from a random fee later anyway. So here is mine. First, they're infested with spiders and insects. I have had the worst experience and customer service I've had with a storage facility primarily due to their lack of communication and MIScommunication. They leave during business hours randomly and leave consistently hours before closing at 6pm and they have unexpected closures on business days which is a disservice to a customer who already can't get in contact with the proper authority to reach resolutions electronically especially if you reside out of town. The property manager Kathleen, I'm not sure if she is clueless in CS or being led blind most of the time because she provides misinformation multiple times which thus confuses you but ultimately they refer to the email to save themselves because that is law for the customer, not the business though, they don't need to keep INTEGRITY with their words. Leadership is led by the head not the tail though so nevertheless, when you do reach Del the DISTRICT manager after 3 weeks of emails, phone calls, and voicemails that you shouldn't have had to do because you were told by Kathleen Deaton he would reach out to you in 3 days because he has the authority to retract this fee…he will tell you he never called due to it supposed to be an OPERATIONS issue, he will go on a military power trip harassing you about where you are stationed and your rank (because “he has a personal issue with stolen valor) and speak to you as if he is your drill sergeant only to remove the late fee (the only email received after waiting on a phone call or email for weeks) which he believes should be a service to you when it was never supposed to be applied anyway. He will not be receptive to your concerns and address the lack of communication on his part and his team but ALL OF A SUDDEN after 30 minutes on the phone… tells you he will remove the $50 lock fee that was falsely charged, IF you meet in person with him. At what point is that appropriate? For what? Your pride? If it was so complicated to get in contact with you, how is it so easy for you to arrange to meet me at the site DAY OF (after being unexpectedly closed for the past two days again that you had to fly INTO TOWN to realize) because you want to test my integrity to THEN resolve the issue properly.. I would NEVER recommend this or any other Shield Storage to anyone even in their most dire times because it will be a never ending headache that you are actually signing for.
