From the North

From Camp Chiquita Campground

If you are camping at Camp Chiquita Campground and are looking for a convenient place in town to store you camping gear, head to Placerville storage by taking Wentworth Springs Rd about 7.1 miles to CA-193 E/Georgetown Rd. Turn left onto CA-193 E/Georgetown Rd and travel another 14.5 miles to CA-49/Coloma St. Take a left onto Coloma Rd and travel towards Spring St. After you pass Coloma Spring Suites on your right, take a right onto Spring St and an almost immediate left onto El Dorado Freeway. Placerville Self Storage will be on your right. If you’ve reached Placerville Body Shop you’ve gone too far.

 

From the South

From Diamond Springs, CA

If you are located south of Placerville Self Storage near Diamond Springs, you can get to use by taking the CA-49N/Diamond Rd/Golden Chain Highway about 2.7 miles north to Pacific St. Turn left onto Pacific St, you will see a U.S. Bank Branch on your right, and head towards Main St. At Main St, take a left. When you get to Spring St, take a right and head towards the El Dorado Freeway. When you reach El Dorado, take a right. After approximately 0.7 miles, Placerville Self Storage will be on your right. If you’ve reached Placerville Body Shop you’ve gone too far.

From the East

From Motor City

To get to Placerville Self Storage from the Motor City area, simply take Parkway Dr toward Newton Rd. As you turn right onto Newton Rd, continue driving as it will turn into Broadway. Continue following Broadway, passing the Wells Fargo Bank on your left, and turn left onto Mosquito Rd. Turn right onto Main St, Sierra Nevada Tire & Wheel will be on your right, onto Locust Ave. The storage facility will be on your right.

 

From the West

From Cold Springs Golf and Country Club

If you are leaving Cold Springs Golf and Country Club to store your clubs, head to Clubhouse Dr and continue as it turns into Richard Ave. When you reach Cold Springs Rd, take right to stay on Cold Spring Rd as you reach the junction of Cold Springs Rd and Middletown Rd. Then, take a left onto Placerville Dr and proceed towards US-50E/El Dorado Freeway toward South Lake Tahoe. You will pass the KFC on your way so you know you’re heading in the right direction. About 1.3 miles away you will find Placerville Self Storage on your right. If you’ve reached Placerville Body Shop you’ve gone too far.

Jennifer made sure that the unit I was going to rent was open for me and had been swept out. She checked in later that day to see if I needed anything and to ask if the unit met my expectations. She is very hard working to ensure the facility is keep clean and organized. The location of the facility is convenient, being right off of HWY 50 just outside of the downtown.

We started with a 5x5, and they were so kind, quick, and helpful when we came in for our appointment and going over rules or any questions we might have. This great experience was followed up by another when we needed to upgrade our unit to the 5x10 a week later. They were eager to help, friendly, and it took less than 5 minutes!! 100% recommend to anyone moving or in search of storage space, whether short notice or planned- this is a storage facility that will take care of you and you’re belongings.
