How to find Shield Storage in Mead, WA
From the North
If you’re traveling from the Cat Tales Wildlife Center, you will begin by getting to E Greenbluff Rd and turning left. Then, once on E. Greenbluff Rd, you will turn left at the first cross street onto US-2 W. Then, in just under 2 miles, you will use the 2nd from the left lane to turn left onto WA-206 E. After that, almost immediately, you will turn right onto N Market St. Travel south on N Market St for approximately 1.7 miles, passing Union Stadium, and our facility will be on your right. If you reach Pull & Save Auto Parts, you’ve gone too far.
From the East
After spending a full day with family and friends at Newman Lake, you need a place to store your boat and water toys! Get your boat to Shield Storage by heading southeast on NW Newman Lake Dr toward E Campbell Rd. Then, take a right onto N Starr Rd. You will travel just over 2 miles and turn right onto WA-290 W. When you get to the traffic circle, continue straight so you stay on the WA-290 W. Then, you will turn right onto N Evergreen Rd and continue onto E Forker Rd. Next, turn Right onto N Progress Rd and then make a left onto N Forker Rd. You will then continue straight onto E Bigelow Gulch Rd for approximately 3.3 miles. Then, you will take a right turn onto Argonne Rd and in just over 2.5 miles, you will turn left onto E Stoneman Rd. You will follow E Stoneman Rd and merge onto E Parksmith Dr. Lastly, make a right turn onto N Market St where you pass Pull & Save Auto Parts and you will find our facility on the left.
From the West
After a full day at Pine Acres Par 3, you can store your clubs with us with a short drive to our self storage facility. To start, you will head south on US-395 S/N Division St toward E Regina Ave. Then, make a left-handed turn onto E Hawthorne Rd. In just over 2 miles, you will continue straight onto N Parksmith Dr. Next, turn left onto N Market St where you will pass the Pull & Save Auto Parts store. You will find our facility on your left.
From the South
If you are trying to get to our self storage facility from the Hillyard area, you will want to begin by heading west on E Queen Ave toward N Julia St. Then, you will turn right onto N Freya St. In just over a mile, when you arrive at the traffic circle, take the 1st exit onto the US-395 ramp to N Future. Continue onto US-395. Then, you will take the N Parksmith Dr exit and turn right onto N Coxe Rd/N Parksmith Dr (signs for Market St/Mead). Lastly, you will want to make a left turn onto N Market St where you will find our self storage facility on your left. Remember, you must pass the Pull & Save Auto Parts before reaching our facility.

Britney rocks she had all my paperwork sent to me so when I was ready to move in all I had to do was move in no sitting and doing paper work and she made me feel like I was just one of her friends I recommend shield storage to anyone who has storage needs and can't beat the price. I have had a good experience at Shield Storage so far. The girl in the office is extremely helpful and I have most of my things moved in. Only concern is I wanted to put two small cars {1 is 5' 8" wide and the other 4' 8" wide) side by side which is why I got a 12 foot wide unit. However with the 4X4's on each side wall it only measures 11' 4" across so I wasn't able to squeeze them in so I won't be able to store my pickup truck there. Disappointed but not a deal -breaker. Could I get a discounted rate?
