Travis had just come back from lunch and was very precise and helpful. He made sure I had all my options to male an informed decision about price and size. I appreciate all the feedback he gave from prior experience from people that had to move in and out cause the space may have been too small. I like to be informed about everything and that is what he did He was very professional and made sure I was sure of what i wanted. He was also paitent with me as I did not have my actual card on hand and did everything online. He notice online made a hiccup and was happy to correct. Y paperwork. MUCH MAHALOS!!!

I wasn’t sure if I wanted a storage unit. I had a lot of questions and I have 2 daughters who want to also get storage. The manager was very nice and I felt bad because I was asking so much but he told me it’s no problem. He answered everything so good and was very polite and friendly. I’m glad I came here and I got my storage. The property is so nice and clean. I almost went to the one nearby but not now. I will send my daughters here and my friends. Also I was wondering about auctions and the manager Travis helped me to make an account and showed me how to use the site. I thank you Mr.Travis. Best customer service ever!!

Excellent Place! Travis was very helpful! He assisted with the complexities of our move-in which included the navigation of our large uhaul w/ trailer throughout the facility. At one point we discovered we had forgotten to bring in some of our paperwork and Travis guided us how to find it online so that we could get checked in. Stead Self Storage is well-maintained and secure which gives us the peace of mind that our belongings are in good hands. The convenience of their location and accessibility were also major pluses for us. We rented 2 storage units and 2 parking spaces.

The facility and units are clean and the layout is friendly. However communications for questions and assistance are severely lacking. I've sent in an inquiry regarding a notice that my rental fee will increase in price and when I asked for further explanation I was met with silence. It is disheartening that I moved my services to this facility because the pricing in the older one I was using became too much.. and now they're charging me more than my prior place of service. I will continue to use for the upcoming season but I will be looking for a more honest and forthcoming facility that responds to email concerns.

I have been renting at this facility Since Sept.2024, even not being here in person but Travis helped me to sign up for my 2 units on the phone, he sent me all necessary papers, and when I arrived he was very helpful, professional and friendly. Every month I paid my rent by going to the office giving it to Travis but in Dec,. while Travis on Vacation the facility did not put anyone in charge, which was really strange, so when I tried to pay on the phone their message was messed up and told me I don’t owe anything and Zero dollar to pay, which caused me late fees and false charges, but I showed Travis the recording, and he made sure to tell Emily the manager to Fix it, while Emily only fixed one unit not the second and when I went to pay my Feb. bill in the office, I said "where is Travis?" Emily said "we fired him" !!! As you see in all the reviews the person with most good reviews mention Travis including me. I was sadened by that news and I told Emily I really liked Travis and his customer service, and his communication skills! Now my recent March 21st 2025 incident is a Horror story which I have ever experienced in a public space. I went to the office to inquire about my storage units, my bill for next month, and recent email about Raising my monthly rent for April, as I entered the office there was this new blond guy who did not even greet me as Travis did always, I asked him to use the rest room, which i have done in the past with Travis, he was very rude but I had to go badly so I went. I was not even 5 minutes in the restroom this new guy (which I had not met before) he Started Banging so hard on the door which caused a life threatening event with panic, anxiety, so I barely pulled up my clothing, right away I opened the door in panic to see what he wanted, I forgot my keys and Wallet because of that in the Bathroom. When I came out he told me "get the F out of here!!". I was Shocked, then he called Emily, instead Emily asking me what happened, she is telling him to threaten me instead. I asked Emily to call me so I can tell her what he did and said and what I came in for, she said "OK I will call you" but she Never did!! And because of this guys threats, and violent behavior toward me while sitting on the toilet, and Emily's collaboration of abuse, I left in a hurry and I went got my keys sitting on the toilet because of Panic and their Violent behaiviors I left my wallet in the bathroom. By now my blood pressure was up, then as I was driving to go home to take my medication I saw I had no wallet, so after taking my blood pressure medication i went to get my wallent. I called the Cell phone Travis was using but this guy did not answer, instead had locked the Door during bussiness hour and did not respond, I knocked multiple times until he came to the window of the door, through closed door I told him, "please check the bathroom I left my wallet" he finally gave me my wallet and he made a horrible day for me, all becausei went to bathroomand . This kind of person who is Violent in behavior Banging on a door as if there was a fire, or death in the room and then Using profanity, and Lie to Emily . Emily not checking with the customer which she knows and met few weeks before is really disgusting and non professional. A good professional manager checks to see what happened and listen to both sides because Emily was not there but instead Emily listened to his lies, she protectected , and aided him with his wrong behavior, this will cause more of these incidents and legal problems for the facility. I will report this to better bussiness BBB, and to people and friends to avoid a facility where an elderly woman gets abused in a bathroom and the manager helps the perpetrator. The head quarters are going to know the Truth how Shield storage name is misused by this New guy and the manager. We'll I hope Shield investigates this case, because this new guy is dangerous because when I said you sweared at me, instead of saying sorry, he said " it is a Free country!!!".
